“Ever since my childhood I have loved to paint, and cars
were among my most favorite of subjects. Sitting in the yard beside my
mother while she painted flowers and trees, I would draw and paint my father’s car on a
small canvas, attempting to recreate the intricate lines and
crossings of the wheels' spokes.
I admire the technical design and sleek look of a car's frame, gently
curving around the motor and wheels as though it had been sculpted
by the surrounding airflow. For me, as an artist and a painter, car portraiture
is a passion.”
