Maria Grazia Repetto is a Master Fine Artist and Muralist specializing in Fresco Murals, Mural Bas-Reliefs and Stucco technique. Maria is also highly experienced in Oils, Acrylics, Tempera and Gouache paintings, as well as Etching and Engraving techniques. Maria was raised in Italy where she received both her BFA and MFA at Academia Ligustica di Belle Arti and at the Artistico Niccolò Barabino.
Maria Grazia Repetto has life long experience in Fine Art. At the age of thirteen, she assisted in Firenze with the restoration of Villa al Poggio Imperiale's magnificent XVII- and XVIII-century frescoes. Later, she performed fresco restoration work at the Diocesi di Bobbio Church near Genova as well as at the Castle of Castelvecchio di San Felice in Torino. Maria Grazia also worked as a technical design specialist for the Centro Nazionale Ricerche at the University of Genova, and as a freelance illustration-artist for several newspapers and magazines.
In 1997, Maria came to Seattle where she taught Fresco Art classes at the Fry Art Museum as well as the Pratt Art Center. She has completed a number of commissioned Fresco paintings in Seattle and throughout Washington State, as well as in Boca Raton, FL, and Phoenix, AZ, for both commercial buildings and private residences. Maria Grazia is well accustomed to working on custom-made projects. She is capable of creating both traditional and contemporary works of art with a high level of sophistication.
In addition to fresco techniques, Maria has extensive experience with a variety of techniques and mediums, including oil painting, watercolors, acrylics, printmaking, and bas-relief techniques. Her work has been exhibited in art galleries throughout Europe.
